2008 US Master Winner: Trevor Immelman followed in the illustrious footsteps of Gary Player by becoming only the second South African winner of the Masters Tournament at Augusta National. The 28 year old completed a wire-to-wire victory with a final round of 75 for a three stroke triumph over World Number One, Tiger Woods.

Immelman, who finished at 8-under 280, started the week by playing a practice round with his boyhood idol, Gary Player, who won his third Masters in 1978 and set a record by playing for the 51st time.

Immelman handled the wind and pressure of Augusta National far better than anyone chasing him Sunday to win The Masters, the first South African in a green jacket in 30 years. More US Masters Golf Betting Information Here - 2008 Masters Golf Odds
